We are the Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) - the research and development corporation (RDC) for the red meat processing sector in Australia. We provide research, development, extension and marketing services to advance the productivity, profitability and sustainability of the sector. We strategically invest red meat processor levies and government-matched funding in programs that deliver a range of benefits for the sector and the broader Australian red meat industry. We have 100+ members operating more than 130 plants across Australia, representing over 90% of Australia’s processing sector. We consult with our membership to develop strategic R&D plans and identify gaps in adoption, investing in research that provides innovative solutions aligned to our members’ needs.
