The Forward Foundation (formerly known as The Sophie House) empowers single, working mothers experiencing crisis to build an independent, secure, and healthy future for themselves and their children. We have worked hard to thoughtfully design a program that fosters the resilience and independence of the women and children we serve so they can “move forward.” We are dedicated to assisting working single mothers by providing them with financial assistance for quality childcare, as well as access to educational workshops focused on financial literacy, legal concerns, career advancement, and wellness.
