Established in 2014, World Impact Development Foundation (WIDEF) is a global movement of people taking action and leading advocacy to address the root causes and effects of poverty. Our work has three strategic levels – the grassroots empowerment level, the policy advocacy level and the leadership development level. At the grassroots level, we improve the livelihood of the rural and peri-urban poor and empower them with the education and skills they need to become self-reliant. At the policy level, we advocate and influence policy and decision makers to create inclusive public policies and programmes. At the leadership development level, we train and build the capacity of public leaders, identify and empower the next generation of emerging leaders.
