Web Application Development A strong knowledge of javascript (native and using libraries such as jquery, mootools or backbone) is built upon by creating functionality specific class files to a strict OO pattern, delivered to the browser after linting, concatenation and minification using google closure compiler or the yui compressor. Good knowledge of working with API's, worked extensively with social network, audio, video and the larger providers such as Google, Yahoo and Microsoft. Strong experience of working within Facebook, LinkedIn, Google and Phonegap environments. HTML Documents are served using xhtml strict or html5 depending on the target browser matrix, and styled with css up to level 3 where appropriate. We use less or sass to manage the css depending on the target environment. Happy to work in node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java and Perl environments. While we do have our stronger and weaker languages, each has their place and we are happy to use them appropriately. CMS' / Platforms we have worked in include Adobe Day CQ5.2 and 5.4 (Audi and AstraZeneca), Django, Drupal, Wordpress, openCMS, Tiles. Functionality is demonstrated by tests written in cucumber operating through Selenium, and tested against the browser matrix using sauce labs' api
