Through innovative programming, we build the capacity of women and girls to demand equal rights and opportunities and to participate and contribute to the progress of their community and nation in a safe and peaceful environment. Our Projects Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response: We have initiated and Implemented public campaigns that demand zero-tolerance for violence against women and children. As the Coordinating Organisation of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sexual and Gender-Based Response Team, Abuja. (FCT-SGBVRT) we provide counseling services and direct referral to medical care, law enforcement and legal services. Follow our campaign on #MyGenderPledge on social media calling for direct action to address the range of continuing barriers to gender equality, including violence against women and girls. #MasksInAfrica Project We're working to provide as many vulnerable communities as possible in Abuja with cloth masks to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Our masks are produced by women community tailors and distributed free to roadside traders, market women, widows, and the elderly in informal settlements where social distancing and sanitation and hygiene facilities are a challenge.
