California Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC)

www.cpqcc.org

The California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC) is a group of public and private, California leaders in healthcare, committed to improving care and outcomes for the State’s pregnant mothers and newborns. The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine aims to provide optimum state-of-the-art care for critically ill and recovering neonates and infants. We are dedicated to the School of Medicine’s mission of advancing and exploring innovative and novel biomedical, translational, and clinical research and education through the nurturing stimulation of interactions among basic and clinical scientists, clinicians, and educators throughout the School of Medicine and University, as well as with the private and public sectors. Through our integrated research, education, patient, and community outreach programs, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic medicine and patient care. A component of the Division is the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC), a multi-stakeholder organization that functions to develop and implement evidence-based, medical decision-making tools that promote quality improvement initiatives aimed at supporting NICUs throughout California in their efforts to improve health outcomes for high risk mothers and infants. CPQCC closely interacts with its sister organizations, the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) and the California Regional Perinatal and Outreach Program in promoting data-driven, perinatal quality improvement throughout California.
