Vasoil Co Ltd has been established in 1982 with purpose of importing lubricants and selling them in Cyprus. In 1986 Cylubs a sister company was created by Vasoil, pioneering in the production and packing of lubricants in Cyprus and started producing with the brand name Vasoil. In 1987 a new cooperation with Shell marks the production of SHELL lubricants until 1994 as Shell decides to leave the island. In 1996 Cylubs starts a new cooperation with Castrol and begins the production of Castrol Marine,together with the Vasoil products. Covering all Middle east Beirut, Syria, Egypt, Jordan) as well as selling the Castrol Marine products in Cyprus until 2001 that Castrol is bought by BP and they move their production to their own factories. At 2003 the sister company Cylubs together with Vasoil decided was time they stopped producing Vasoil products. Therefore since 2003 Vasoil Co Ltd starts producing the products in the new facilities that are located at the industrial area of Agios Sylas with a full range of products being done by Vasoil. At 2008 the company had implemented the QUALITY SYSTEM ISO 9001:2008 as well as signing the letter of conformance with ATIEL; so the European specification ACEA can be used on the packaging. The company has also signed a contract with Ecofuel for gathering the used oil from our clients in the Cyprus market and a contract with Green Dot for the gathering of used packages. In 2011, the Vasoil Blending Plant has been commissioned by Navilub Ltd, the official distribution partner of TOTAL Lubmarine in Cyprus, for the production of all the main grades of the TOTAL Lubmarine range. The blending plant is fully audited and approved by TOTAL Lubmarine. The company for a number of continuously years is the exclusive supplier of the Cypriot army as well all the Cyprus government. The company is buying its raw materials always from international certified suppliers and its used with certified formulations for the production of the lubricants.
