The story began in the Mpumulanga city of Nelspruit, South Africa when Galitos opened its first store in 1996. The concept was to combine a unique mouth watering Peri- Peri taste with an unforgettable flavor and uncompromising nutritional values. With a powerful combination of great tasting flame grilled chicken, excellent service and pride Galitos became a huge success within a few years. It became the most favorite and talk of every house hold. In 2006 Galitos spread its wings into Africa opening more stores in Ghana, Kenya and Senegal.The success of these stores offered promising opportunities and great potential for further growth in these regions and through out the world. By the end of 2010 Galitos has opened 90 stores. The Galitos team has, once again, dedicated its heart and soul in spreading its wings and this time into the North American market. It is with this success we are pleased and proud to launch our first store in Toronto (Canada) with the expansion plan of three more stores coming soon in the Greater Toronto Area in 2011.
