The Founders of The OCD Foundation have a passion to make a difference for our Country. We looked at specific causes such as suicide prevention, Cancer, Foreign Aid as those are a couple we were looking into. When it came down to it, we saw that the people that are in our community NEED our help. We are building this foundation on basic needs and to help someone face WHATEVER they are faced with and be there to offer non-professional advice in a JUDGEMENT FREE zone where we do not look at anyone as a LOST CAUSE. We boiled it down to 3 areas of concern. Housing. Hunger. Unemployment. We plan to start local OCD Community Centers in major markets and then moving to smaller cities. The OCD Community Centers will provide CARE Managers, Career Advisers and Food Services among other Emergency Services to ANYONE in need. We are there for our clients to talk to someone and formulate a plan of action, take that action and have continued follow up to make sure they are working toward achieving what was originally discussed in their "OCD Life Plan." The Plan... First we are going to need to raise funds, apply for grants and reach out to the communities for support. Even if you do not have a physical location in your city, PLEASE DONATE. Eventually, we will be in most locations. With the raise of Technology we will still be able to be of assistance in any State, County or City via Phone & Video Chat. If you are unable to donate money, however, you have a desire to make a change with Homelessness, Hunger or Unemployment; you would be a GREAT person to assist in our FUNDRAISING DELIVERY TEAM. Once we have the funds, we will start by building community centers in Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit & Madison. This is a Foundation To Watch and Invest in....We WILL Make Change Happen!
