We are Canadian atheists who are concerned about rights, freedoms, and general well-being of atheists both in Canada and internationally. Our desire is for peaceful advocacy, and we are happy to participate in public discourse as a means of engaging in the free exchange of ideas. The word "atheism" represents an all-encompassing and tremendously diverse classification-demographic of individuals who share one specific trait -- the absence of belief in any deities (gods and goddesses). All other traits are incidental.
