The CFA Society Belgium is a professional organisation with the objective of furthering the public perception and standing of the investment profession as well as providing services and support for its members in Belgium. FOSTER PROFESSIONALISM - foster professionalism among its members and within the Belgian investment management profession in the widest sense. ENCOURAGE HIGH LEVEL OF ETHICS - promote and join CFA Institute, and its Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, in compliance with existing local regulations and cooperation with local organisations where possible. PROMOTE CFA DESIGNATION AND PROGRAM - promote the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and support candidates for the CFA designation in Belgium, increase Belgian public awareness of the CFA designation. FACILITATE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NETWORKING support contact and communication among investment professionals both within Belgium and worldwide through CFA Institute and its affiliated chapters and societies. PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION - organise continuing education events for investment practitioners, both on its own and in collaboration with other CFA Institute chapters and societies.
