King Abdullah Institute for Research & Consulting Studies (KAI) at King Saud University (KSU) is the legal representative of all KSU units to provide paid consultation services. KAI clearly reflects the capability of KSU to interact with the diverse and changing requirements of the society and works towards achieving the required solutions through utilizing the variety of recourses owned by KSU. KAI was established by the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the president of the Higher Education Council with respect to the fifth meeting of the Higher Education Council dated on 14/10/1996 using telex No. 7/B/16785. This allows KAI to carry out paid studies and consultation services to public, private and non-profit organizations. تأسس معهد‭ ‬الملك‭ ‬عبد‭ ‬الله‭ ‬للبحوث‭ ‬والدراسات‭ ‬الاستشارية بجامعة الملك سعود، هو الواجهة التعاقدية ومركز الأعمال لتقديم الاستشارات والخدمات الاستشارية والتدريبية مدفوعة الثمن لكافة مؤسسات المجتمع، ويعمل المعهد على التنسيق والتكامل والاستفادة من إمكانيات الجامعة الفكرية والمادية، ويواصل نشاطاته المتعددة برصانة ومرونة عالية ليكون الاختيار الأول لكافة مؤسسات المجتمع.وانشئ المعهد بموافقة خادم الحرمين الشريفين على محضر الجلسة الخامسة لمجلس التعليم العالي المعقود‭ ‬بتاريخ 1417/06/01هـ الموافق 1996/10/14 م، بالبرقية الكريمة رقم 7/ب/6785 التاريخ 1417/11/4 هـ الموافق 1997/03/13 م، والتي بموجبها يحق للمعهد إجراء الدراسات وتقديم الاستشارات والخدمات العلمية والبحثية والتدريبية والتعليمية لكافة القطاعات والمؤسسات الحكومية والخاصة.‭ ‬
