Several disasters have occurred because electric current in various electrical systems has not been monitored closely enough. The increasing integration of wide bandgap, high-speed switches into electrical systems requires equivalent advances in high-speed current monitoring. These types of devices are critical for power conversion, current monitoring, and the development of electric vehicles. We are developing a new class of high-speed current sensors to enhance the safety and efficiency of electric systems.
