The Romanian Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds (MDRAPFE) was established in January 2017, by the merging of the former Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration (MDRAP: 2013-2016) and the Ministry of European Funds (MFE: 2013-2016). MDRAPFE manages, together with other relevant ministries, the Romanian government policy in the following areas: - regional development, - territorial cohesion and territorial development, - cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation, - european funds, - spatial planning, urbanism and architecture, - housing, urban management and real-estate development, public works, construction, - central and local public administration: decentralization reform and administrative-territorial reorganization, tax and regional and local public finance, dialogue with the associations, the development of public services, state aid, industrial, civil service management, - the financial assistance available to Romania through the European Union programmes: the Regional Operational Programme, the Operational Programme for the Development of the Administrative Capacity and the European Territorial Cooperation programmes: http://www.mdrap.ro.
