The Doris Wilderness was founded in 2007 solely for the purpose of helping preserve and rewild Belize old-growth tropical rainforest and the biodiversity within. The Doris Wilderness Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Doris Wilderness Belize is a registered NGO and a corporation in good standing in Belize. The Doris Wilderness Belize is officially registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit of Belize as a Designated Non-Financial Business & Profession (DNFBP). The Doris Wilderness does not accept donations.
