The International Association of Event Hosts (IAEH) is a membership organisation, owned by its members, for not-for-profit investors in major sporting and cultural events. IAEH's primary aim is to generate the best possible value from public resources made by cities, regions or countries on behalf of citizens and communities across the world. IAEH supports the successful delivery of major sporting and cultural events, and associated long term social and economic benefits. It is a platform for host organisations to share best, and worst, practice to enable better decision-making within cities, regions and countries, and a collective voice to represent views of host organisations over strategic issues, for example development of guidelines for hosting international events. Membership is limited to “not-for-profit” organisations involved in hosting events, including city, region or country government authorities, city, region or country tourism organisations and Sporting or Cultural Commissions.
