Birdnest Consulting was founded by David and Jennifer Conover with the goal of giving back to the communities where we live and travel. Over the years, our paths have taken us to Sitka, Alaska and Wales, Great Britain; California and Texas; Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia and Baltimore, Maryland; the San Juan Islands of Washington State and Kyiv, Ukraine. Along the way, we’ve become parents of three adventurous children; directed non- profits; partnered with a variety of social conscious organizations including orphanages, food assistance missions, and parks & recreation programs; worked as corporate photographers; managed social media and marketing campaigns for businesses; and taught at international schools. All of these travels eventually led us to Williams, Oregon where we are currently in the process of opening a learn-at-home public charter school for homeschool families.
