Our mission is summarized in one line: “As iron sharpens iron…” At Hofmeister Engineering, we focus on mechanical systems design including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) with associated control systems, plumbing, fire protection and other piping systems. Through a design alliance with Progeer, LLC, we also provide full electrical engineering services including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security and communcations systems engineering. We offer innovative and economically effective design services, providing state-of-the-art design solutions, tailored to the specific technical, financial and scheduling needs of each of our clients. Hofmeister Engineering was started in January 2005 by Jon Hofmeister, P.E. after he left Kling, a nationally renowned architectural and engineering firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he had been a Director, Design Principal and Partner.
