Cortirio’s mission is to save lives by developing low-cost, portable brain imaging. Traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability in the under-40s. Brain imaging is a prerequisite for effective treatment of brain injury, but is currently expensive and non-portable. This causes delays and every second increases the risk of disability and death. Cortirio solves this by providing portable, wearable brain imaging which can be used at the scene of an injury to enable faster clinical decisions, reduce time-to-treatment and improve outcomes for patients.
