Once responsible for staffing and recruiting for one of the nation's largest airlines, I have reviewed tens of thousands of resumes and cover letters and have conducted more telephone and in-person interviews than I can count. Having been called upon by friends and associates to review and critique resumes and for years, I often thought of going into business for myself. Never one to gouge the people who looked to me for assistance, my business vision included helping others achieve their dreams and personal goals and do it at an affordable price. In the process of developing My Power Resume in 2004, I faced the usual challenges of launching a business and through those experiences, I formulated an expression for which I'm now known, and that is: "Stop Trying and Start Succeeding."
