Peak is an arts organisation based in rural Wales, that works creatively with professional artists and communities, responding to its unique protected environment in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It was founded under the name of Arts Alive in 1992, and became a member of Arts Portfolio Wales - arts organisations receiving investment funding from Arts Council of Wales - in 2016. Peak's arts programme works across a range of arts media, particularly visual, digital and literary arts. Participation is at the heart of all its projects and activities, and it works with people of all ages, with an overarching focus on children and young people.
