Founded in 1969, IGI started its business with a concentration on photolithography, engineering and manufacturing photomasks, reticles, micro optics, 3D micro structures and other patterned products for manufacturing use. In 1983, IGI launched its first PC based CAD/CAM system as an off the shelf product. Work continued in both areas, until 2016, when manufacturing assets were sold.
