TiE is a non-profit, global community welcoming entrepreneurs from all over the world. We believe in the power of ideas to change the face of entrepreneurship and growing business through our five pillars; mentoring, networking, education, incubating and funding. TiE was founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs and is currently the world’s largest entrepreneurial organization out there. With programs like TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) and Mentor Match, we are reaching out and fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs. There are currently more than 13,000 members and over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters across 17 countries. TiE Islamabad is the 49th Chapter of TiE Global. We aim to operate as an effective platform for investors and aspiring entrepreneurs to come together and build partnerships. TiE Islamabad, situated in the Capital achieves this by partnering up with the Government, Universities, Non-Profit Organizations, Business alliances, Chambers of Commerce and Corporations. TiE Islamabad Chapter's flagship program is Pakistan Startup Cup, which is presented in collaboration with the U.S Embassy in Pakistan.
