TELEVISION REIMAGINED Urban Unicorn’s goal is simple. Create a completely new and self sustaining media industry in and for Western Australia. Perth specifically is one of the most unique places on earth, where by simply driving a hour or 2 out of the CBD in any direction, the scenery changes so completely, you’d think you’re in a different part of the world. With a focus on Short-Form TV (generally 7 x 20min episodes) Urban Unicorns aims to create a variety of shows, using crowd funding techniques to fund new shows (customer buy-in is the predominant factor as to whether a show gets pursued or not). Exploring new technologies such as 360º cameras, VR and Augmented reality, Urban Unicorns aims to push the limits of the interactive experience, providing cross-over content online to enhance the storyline and overall viewer engagement.
