Volition is a voluntary sector membership organisation which: • supports and represents the diverse voluntary sector working with people with mental health needs in Leeds • promotes partnership working • works to ensure that services meet people’s needs and promotes user-led and recovery focused services • Advocates for equality of access in the provision of services Strategic Objectives 1. Promote and support networking and partnership working across the voluntary sector and with other sectors 2. Provide information about and for the sector 3. Ensure that the mental health voluntary sector is represented, maintains a high profile and is able to participate in strategic planning both in Leeds and nationally
