Melbourne University Greens Club

umsu.unimelb.edu.au

The University of Melbourne Greens Club is a space for like-minded students to come together and engage in progressive discourse and activism on campus. Our members will have opportunities to gain more skills in campaigning, organising and engaging in the Australian political landscape, as well as taking part in fun, social events with like-minded people. We receive excellent support from our Greens MP’s and hold events with them and other campaigners throughout the year. Being a member of the club is a great starting point for people interested in political activism as you will learn the skills to effectively make a difference. As a club, we have four main aims: a. To provide a space for progressive discourse on environmental, social and academic issues in Australia b. To promote the work of The Greens and provide pathways to support and be involved with the party, whether on or off campus, or in any capacity c. To encourage activism that is inclusive and accessible, and open to collaboration with other clubs in achieving common goals d. To offer opportunities for members to gain more skills in activism, organising and engaging in the Australian political landscape
