After almost two decades of redefining the way the French press interacted with its readers online, Philippe Hardoux, our CEO and co-founder, realized the next revolution would be in Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering technologies, and created Viasema alongside Jamal Rezzouk in 2010. Jamal Rezzouk, our CTO and co-founder, has a degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the Ecole Centrale Paris and over 30 years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He worked as an engineer for CNES (the French government space agency) for several years, before working for Alcatel Alsthom’s R&D department for 5 years, which earned him numerous publications and 3 international patents in satellite image information extraction. Since being founded in 2010, we have invested over €2 million in the project. There is a lot of buzz around AI, which can hamper companies’ ability to innovate. Our strategy has been to build strong long term relationships with our clients and prospects, paving the way for successful projects that seamlessly bridges the gap between humans and machines.
