The India Conference at Harvard is designed, conceptualized, and developed by students across the Harvard University. It is a platform to discuss and debate India-centric issues. This year marks the 20th edition of the conference which has a strong legacy of hosting conversations with India’s leading politicians, business leaders, government officials, academicians, artists, athletes, and philanthropists for meaningful dialogue on India’s path to global recognition. The theme of the conference this year is ‘Vision 2047: India at 100 years of Independence’, and speakers include Devendra Fadnavis (Deputy CM of Maharashtra), Keshav Murugesh (WNS CEO) and many more. Panel topics cover a wide range of interests such as climate tech and justice, healthcare, education policy, caste, democracy, media and journalism, polarization, global implications of Indian politics, the LGBTQ rights movement, and the future of impact investing in India, among others.
