Knowledge Capsules (KC) is an NGO started by Padma Shri nominee Rajeev Poddar and Viha Kedia. Rajeev Poddar is a Kolkata-based teacher, TedX Speaker and education reformer. Formally educated only till class 1 because of a childhood paralytic attack, Rajeev has been teaching for more than 40 years now. Rajeev is known for his quirky style of teaching, full of pop culture references, a unique method he has developed on his own. KC is on a mission to provide dynamic, issue-based, and relevant knowledge to today's generation. Rajeev is currently teaching kids from all economic backgrounds, free of cost, through Zoom. His topics include (but are not limited to) Cryptocurrency, Syrian refugee issue, Climate change, Afghanistan crisis, China, Venezuela, Elon Musk and Electric Vehicles. KC is taking Rajeev's classes across India. We are already teaching middle and high school students in Gujarat, West Bengal, Delhi, Maharashtra and Punjab, and our aim is to reach all states in India by 2022.
