The Hague Academy Mobile (tHMA) tHMA has been founded by Sharewire and the Municipality of The Hague and offers college and university graduates a platform where they can acquire practical knowledge and skills in developing innovative mobile apps. tHMA trainees work as a multidisciplinary team to develop a mobile application for an actual project or client. The application is developed in accordance to the Full Service approach as Sharewire applies and during the project the trainees are supervised by mobile professionals from the industry. 20% of the time is reserved for workshops, lectures and individual guidance, realised by Knowledge Partners such as TNO, TamTam and Sharewire. By ‘working on the job ‘tHMA trainees gain practical and relevant experience in the field of mobile apps development. After finishing the 6 month curriculum, trainees have the big advantage of having experienced a full development cycle of a mobile app; from early idea to successful launch in the appstores. tHMA is a non-profit organization that wants to deliver experienced mobile professionals to the labour market and give young talented graduates the opportunity to succeed in the mobile industry.
