Specializing in : Obstetrics (including high-risk pregnancy) Basic Infertility Adolescent Gynecology Dr. Michael Burks and his staff are dedicated to providing patient centered care, by educating and empowering women to take control of their health. Making available more options for women, while delivering the closest thing to an ‘in home’ physician while in a clinic or hospital setting. Dr. Michael Burks graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1987. Completed an internship and residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1991. Dr. Burks has been practicing in Columbia, MO since 1991 when he established his private practice. Dr. Burks has always taken the approach of treating every patient who walked in the door as if they were his wife or daughter; providing a comfortable, confidential space for patients.
