The Hart House Film Board has been the preeminent film and video production club at the University of Toronto since 1975. We help our members make movies by providing equipment loans and maintaining an edit suite. We also provide grants of a few hundred dollars, group projects such as the New Filmmaker's Project and the Hart House Farm Project and we organize screenings for the UofT Film Festival. You can become a Film Board member by visiting the Hart House Hub and offering them $25, if you're a student or Hart House member. If you are not a Hart House member you first have to purchase a Clubs and Committees membership which is about $175/year. Hart House offers filmmaking classes through the Creative Classes program.
