Williamstown Seagulls FIDA Football Club is a football club which was set up in 2011 to provide sporting opportunities for people with Intellectual Disabilities in the Inner Western suburbs of Melbourne. The Williamstown Seagulls FIDA Football Club (WSFIDA) is a member club of the Victorian Football Integration Development Association Football League. (F.I.D.A. is a football competition for people who attend special schools or have an Intellectual Disability.) FIDA exists to provide Victorians with an Intellectual Disability the opportunity to participate in Australian Rules Football, at an appropriate competitive level. Governed by AFL Victoria, the League provides an environment that promotes fitness, fun, friendship and a sense of belonging. Through participation in Australian Rules Football, participants enhance life skills and develop self-esteem, confidence and improved health. The League is a structured Victorian football competition for males and females, aged 14 and over, currently supporting over 800 players. There are six metropolitan divisions in 2020, and two country conferences across Victoria.
