At Sefton Park, we believe that our school is a community of parents, staff, children and friends. It is a primary place for learning. It always involves an element of care. The influence of high quality early learning (especially that between 0 and 8 years) is proven to be vitally important in influencing a child’s later life. It forms a fundamental, distinct and essential phase of education in itself, without which it is difficult for children to progress successfully in school or into adult learning. All children are therefore entitled to learning experiences of the highest quality. Motivation is one of the prerequisites to learning; learning should be exciting.
