The Bastion is a developmental journalism project that works in select fields; education, environment and sports. The key aim of our project is to bridge the gap between public policy, academia, journalism, business and research, and shed light on issues of importance that the mainstream does not pick up on. Through its research-focused journalism, The Bastion aims to build a better equipped and informed audience and improve the level of societal and political discourse in the nation.
