Project Walk Boston Ability Center

www.pwboston.com

Project Walk is a world-renowned organization that specializes in providing improved quality of life for people affected by paralysis or mobility- related disorders through activity based recovery programs. Understanding that no two clients are the same, our training staff designs and follows through on programs that are customized to the client and their individual goals. We are different than traditional physical therapy. Many of the modalities and exercises that we offer cannot be found in most physical therapy facilities. Our training staff have all earned degrees in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology, and have all gone through extensive training with Project Walk that includes multiple tests and hours of hands-on experience. Each training specialist brings with them a wealth of different life experiences that correlate with training our clients. We pride ourselves on being creative with training sessions and coming up with new ways to challenge each client. Our main objective is to help you get moving again! After an initial evaluation, the training staff will come up with a detailed exercise program that considers your current abilities, weaknesses, and goals. Each training session is a one-on-one with one of our training specialists and consists of neuromuscular reeducation, strength training, core strength and balance, active load bearing, and gait training.
