UMPI will be engaged in CKD model production only for Nissan brand here in the Philippines after NMPI restructuring. Company name was changed from Nissan Motor Philippines Inc. to Univation Motor Philippines, Inc. The word “UNIVATION” came from the combination of the words which are “UNION” and “INNOVATION”. The word “union” is used to simply connote the union of vehicles that we will introduce in the market, while “innovation” is used to signify new and inventive technology that the public will see and experience with our new cars.
