Founded by Borislav Nikolov in 1991, today “Boni Holding” SA is one of the largest companies in the Bulgarian food industry, leader in the production of pork, and one of the most recognized manufacturers of meat products and delicacies. The company is the largest player in the country's Meat Production and Processing industry. It operates several farms for hybrid and commodity pig breeding, as well as one of the most advanced meat processing industrial complexes in Europe. All of the holding's meat processing plants are IFS certified. In 2015 the company's yearly turnover was over EUR 100 million and it employed nearly 1,300 people.
