Team Lotus International established the Classic activity to deal with all aspects of its history. Classic Team Lotus has responsibility for the 58 Monoposto Team Lotus design types from 1957 to 1990. These designs are a testimony to the dedication and innovative skill of Colin Chapman and everyone involved with Team Lotus. The objectives of Classic Team Lotus are to preserve and promote the history of the Team and act as a point of focus for all the owners of the cars which established the Team Lotus Legend. Classic Team Lotus will celebrate and perpetuate the Spirit of the Marque.
