Bearcat Stables is the Vail Valley's premier trail riding outfitter. We have been in business since 1998. In 2006 our cabin was completely restored and offers one of the most unique and historical settings in the Vail Valley. Bearcat Stables specializes in all types of trail riding, with rides starting at 1 hour up to 4 hour scenic rides that include a gourmet lunch and spectacular view. Riders of all abilities are welcome, and our experienced team of wranglers will demonstrate and teach beginners the basics about the horses, from shoeing and saddling to grooming techniques and more. Each Tuesday in the summer we have our Tuesday Night Extravaganza, where the whole family can enjoy a chuck wagon dinner, a cold beverage, hay rides, yard games and more! Our facility is also an event venue offering grounds for a variety of event sizes. We have hosted small garden parties to large 200+ guest weddings. Bearcat's unique setting is the perfect place for those looking for a rustic wedding or event venue. Our charming cabin, Bearcat's Cabin, is available in the summer and the winter for parties, and our large lawn can have event tents or just a beautiful night under the stars. In the winter months we offer sleigh rides and sleigh rides with dinner. This is a fun dining experience that is appropriate for all ages. The sleigh rides are 20-30 minutes long and during that time you will learn all about the history of Bearcat Stables and about our amazing draft horses. Once the ride is complete guests enjoy dinner at Bearcat's Cabin, we offer a 3 course dinner, prepared by the Mirador Restaurant at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera.
