Tourism Waitaki Limited is the official regional tourism organisation of the Waitaki District, in charge of promoting the Waitaki district. Tourism Waitaki also manages and operates the entities of the Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony, Whitestone City, Oamaru Heritage Walking Tours, the Oamaru i-Site and Omarama Information Centre. Tourism Waitaki also markets and promotes the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail as well as the Waitaki Whitestone aspiring Global Geopark.
