DEFNE CONSTRUCTION CO. BACKGROUND: Defne Construction Co Ltd was founded in Antalya, Turkey in 1980s. The company successfully executed many constructions where extended investments have populated on tourism before 2000 for various well known customers such as Turkish Bank of Tourism and others in this city. Between the years 1984 and 1999, Defne Construction completed 13 restoration works of traditional Turkish houses in the citadel of Antalya on turnkey basis. In the beginning of the year 2000, the company moved to Ankara, set up a wood workshop and specifically changed its scope, turned to wooden decorations of the facilities, including design, manufacture and installation according to customer’s wishes. APPROACH TO DESIGN AND PRODUCTION: Our main goal is to have a qualified production within the determined budget on a timely manner and granting customer’s satisfaction. Therefore the production starts with having agreement on technical detail drawings which we prepare, choosing of materials and accessories, making samples, deciding color and surface finishes and important of all having production schedule in compliance with the program of the main construction and following it. We always try to team up with the customer’s engineers or architects. Our technical team constantly attempts keeping close contacts with the customer’s technical team in every stage of the work for the best results and we continue this even after submission of the work to the custom.
