The think tank project FOODnext is a joint project of Borris Förster and Fabio Ziemßen. FOODnext will give impulses and show tendencies on how the food value chain from the primary sector to the plate of the consumer will develop in the coming decades. From technology developments, digitization, structural change and practical tips to future forecasts, the two experts cover and address all stages of the supply chain in cooperation with all stakeholders in the value chain. FOODnext aspires to build up a global network of decision-makers in the agricultural and food sector and thus actively and meaningfully network companies, SMEs, startups / innovators, research and capital. Only through active exchange and cooperation at the decision-making and expert level can we meet the challenges of digitization, the effects of climate change, urban development and the production of food for over 9 billion people.
