Past in Process is the official undergraduate historical studies journal at the University of Texas at Austin. Our mission is to bend the idea and widen the scope of historical research. We are focused on lifting diverse voices and showcasing unheard stories. We accept submissions of any length and from any discipline. Currently, our editorial board is staffed by 30+ undergraduate students, ranging from History to Chemistry majors. We select particularly engaging and compelling submissions to showcase in our print publication, Not Even Past, and our own website. We also archive honors theses for the UT History department. We are currently working on a community outreach program that will focus on creating and providing historical study resources (such as blog posts, educational videos, and group tutoring sessions) for high-schoolers and middle-schoolers in the Austin Metropolitan area.
