Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Liz. I'm a wife, mom to two fur babies, certified reiki master, and an IT Project Manager by day and photographer by night. My favorite color is pink, my favorite past time is playing Tetris, and my specialty is snapping pretty portraits of your favorite folks (furry and not). My love for photography began in childhood, when my sister won a 110 Kodak camera at my dad's company picnic. The two of us took pictures of everything we’d encounter: clouds, jaunty flora, neighborhood animals, our favorite people, random bursts of “fashion innovation.” It was a fun time of learning and discovery about what to capture to make a noteworthy photo. At the age of 16, I started professionally photographing people (as an elf!), snapping portraits of Santa and the children visiting with him during the holiday season. In an effort to continue fulfilling my creative side as an adult, I began pursuing photography in earnest again in 2010. As a lifestyle photographer, my style is clean and natural. My goal is to capture special and everyday events along with the emotion and the little moments that build to make life so special and magnificent. I create custom photography to reflect each subject’s beauty and individuality. Every photo session is unique and tailored towards each family I am privileged to meet. I specialize in pet, family, and child photography, but also photograph expecting mothers, couples, and high school seniors within Lake and McHenry Counties, in IL.
