Nature's Principles BV aims to disrupt traditional Agro-chemicals production processes through new fermentation and chemical technologies. Our first process produces high grade lactic acid, to be used for cleaning, food/feed and PLA and sugar beet pulp, applied in food/feed and polymer applications and salts, such as gypsum, which can be used as fertilizer, food/feed and industrial/building applications. Using open mixed culture biochemical production processes, we can utilize unrefined and “waste” streams, with a low-cost, low-maintenance, easy-to-operate, highly scalable method, which can produce valuable chemicals such as lactic acid, but also ethanol, hydrogen or propanediol. Our core values are integrity, empathy, accountability and sustainability. We believe traditional processes and products need to be disrupted, to enable local industries, which are energy and CO2-neutral, create food, chemicals, materials and sequester CO2. In 2030, we hope to enable cost-competitive PLA production, where PLA can compete with crude oil products such as polypropylene on price and quality, whilst capturing CO2 and producing food at the same time.
