As a professional society and self-regulating body in Alberta, the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB) is committed to the promotion of excellence in the practice of biology. The ASPB promotes professional competence, ethics and education in the field of biology. Through various avenues, the ASPB provides a common ground for professionals to exchange views on matters of mutual interest. Membership in ASPB is open to students in biological science programs, young professionals that have graduated from university and are starting their career, and biologists already established and looking to increase their profile.
