The shop opened in November 1986 on Guildhall Hill in Norwich, England. Philip Browne has become synonymous with experimenting with new, up and coming designers having sold the first collections from Alexander McQueen, Helmut Lang, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano in the 80s and 90s. Philip Browne has been nominated and won prestigious awards such as Drapers Record's Independant Retailer of the Year to FHM's Designer Retailer of the Year for East Anglia. We are currently stocking Moncler, Ma.Strum, Canada Goose, Vivienne Westwood, William Hunt, A Child Of The Jago, Yohji Yamamoto Y-3, Belstaff, Barbour Tokito, Levi's Vintage Clothing, Tricker's, Grenson, Woolrich, Sunspel, Dockers, Pretty Green, Fred Perry Laurel Wreath, Adidas Originals, Adidas ObyO x Jeremy Scott, Humor and other underground, up and coming designers. Philip Browne strives to create a less hostile environment where customers can become more open-minded about creative design - principally due to the rum, cognac or beer that may be served from a Monday to a Sunday!
