Our exclusive partnership, established since 1999, on the banks of the Demerara river the company boasts two sprawling locations, McDoom Providence. With a quest for expansion, our partner company constructed a new processing plant in Suriname, adding to the Group just east of Guyana in September 2018. From a workforce of 2000, our Partner supplies 11 nations worldwide, within Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and North America. Commanding a fleet of 91, the company utilizes sustainable trawling in harnessing near to 40 species of wild caught seafood. lts highly automated and meticulously certified environment is committed to providing pure and superior grade seafood for all consumers. Wholesome artisan well water is further ozonated to ensure products are handled in the most sterile manner. Everyday our plant facilities process 110,000kg of shrimp, incorporating methods such as mechanical peeling and grading, vision sorting system, plate freezing and automated packaging. 23000kg of fish is also dispensed daily either fresh or processed and efficiently frozen for export. Fairly new, is the tuna sector which encounters a more seasonal yield, averaging 25,000kg of yellowfm and bigeye tuna per month. In keeping with their vision of exceeding consumer expectations, Our partner recently boosted their marketing efforts by launching their vibrant 'Wild Caught' brand. State of the art smoking facilities, moulding fish patties and preparing fish portions are among the value-added activities which continue to serve as a key element, towards diversifying the company's portfolio.
