Dr. O Care originally opened as Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville in 1932 and now operates as a specialty pediatric practice where patients ranging from newborns to 21 are treated. Today, Dr. O Care is led by founding physitian Dr. Aylin Ozdemir, winner of 2011 Patients’ Choice Award, which is a distinction received by less than 5 percent of America’s practicing physicians. Dr. O successfully achieved her fellowship, led by Dr. Andrew Weil, in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Upon completing her fellowship, she also passed the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine exams. The Integrative practice of combining traditional and alternative medicines distinguishes her from every other General Practitioner in the state of Florida.
